I have been thinking that I would like to go to the Yucatan to see some of the Mayan ruins. But I believe that one must climb a long scary staircase to get the full benefit of the ruins. It puts me off! I don't like steep stairs without handrails.

I would appreciate hearing comforting (or realistic) assessments of the ruins. And I would like to hear from other Ziners about similar fears. I can't be the only one!
