Jamie very kindly checked out the Israeli tour guide in Shanghai for me. The website I found. There is a new Israeli guide. His name is Dvir. I have been in contact with him, but he can offer no information so far in advance of my trip.

Most of China seems to have that problem. I am accustomed to making arrangements up to 6 months in advance when I travel. In China they prefer no more than 2 months so far as I have been able to discover. That goes for hotels, tour guides, domestic flights and trains and anything else that a traveller might be interested in knowing.
