My friend Evelyn and I went to New York City for the weekend and aside from the teeming rain had a wonderful time. I contacted Sheryl, a Travelziner to get together for dinner. We met in Greenwich Village where Sheryl lives and she took us on a walking tour of the West Village before dinner. She had researched the history and had gone considerably out of her way to show us the city that she loves.

We dined at a marvelous old English Pub called Chumly's which is very much a local neighbourhood establishment. All in all a wonderful evening due to the generosity of a Ziner. Now we are absolutely obligated to show her as good a time when she comes to the Nation's Capital.
