Just returned from the area and highly recommend Bowling Green's Mariah's Restaurant http://www.mariahs.com/ The food is excellent and the building is the oldest brick structure in the city.

Nashville has so much to offer around the West End / Vanderbilt campus area. Try Sunset Grill in the Hillsboro area and be sure to leave room for the chocolate sushi.

Check out Downtown Nashville's premier hotels, the Hermitage and the Union Station Wyndham which are must see sights and have fabulous restaurants as well.
