I was in Bhutan a year ago and found it lovely and interesting. A place out of time. Countryside was well cared for and the people were charming. The government is really choicey about tourism - allows only so many a year and they must be with local guides. They are preserving the old while slowly letting in more modern technology. It was a wonderful laid back trip.
