Subject: VIA Trains at Parry Sound, Ontario
Hi Ziners,

If you are a 'train buff' like me, you should know that effective Nov 29th, 2005, the Westbound 'Canadian' trains from Toronto will use the CP Trestle over the river in Parry Sound, stopping at the old CP Railway station, now an Art Gallery, at 1 Avenue Road.

This is much closer to the downtown area, within walking distance of the shops, the 'Festival of the Sound' Concert Hall and most B & B's.

The Eastbound trains travelling towards Toronto will continue to stop at the CN station at 70 Church Street, now the Chamber of Commerce, closer to the High School uptown.
