Subject: stopover in Tokyo |
Hi, Annette,
You should have enough time to get into Tokyo
and back. Although Narita city is closer to NRT airport, but
Narita city is an industrial city, not pretty at all. Do not
substitute Narita City for downtown Tokyo if you can help
it, IMHO. There are trains and buses operating between NRT
and Tokyo. The Airport Limousine Bus probably is the
easiest. You may take it from NRT to the Tokyo City Air
Terminal (TCAT), and then take a taxi or subway from TCAT to
your first city attraction. Look up the return bus schedule
and reverse the direction taking bus from TCAT to NRT. One
way fare is about 2900Yen, and the ride takes about one
hour. Some of the Limousine Buses run direct from NRT to
major downtown hotels for 3000Yen, but these rides take
longer, and buses are not as frequent. Look up the website

Good luck. Mei-Ching (Massachusetts) |
