I find that I'll be in Singapore for 3 days in January and was hoping for some recommendations on activities in which I should engage. I'm looking forward to the Night Safari at the Zoo, and visiting the Aviary and the Botanical Garden with its orchid collection (both of which I'll try to see in the early morning). Any suggestions for activities during the daytime when the heat and humidity get to be too much? I know Singapore is a shopper's paradise, and I will do a little of that, but would also like to absorb some of the amalgam of cultures. Thanks.
