|Subject: Re: Singapore Suggestions?|
A group of us visited Singapore in 1994 and we all enjoyed Sentosa Island, especially the Wax Museum which depicts scenes of the World War II era. In fact, the veterans in our group were hard to pry away.
There is also a great aquarium there. It was raining so we didn't see any outdoor things.
Another interesting aspect of Singapore is their laws, how they keep their city the "cleanest in the world" and their crime rate low. We were there right after the teenage boy had vandalized some expensive cars and heard about the consequences Singapore imposes. Most interesting. But that kind of information usually comes from a (good) guide.
