My son and I (ages 50 and 75) will be spending 4 days in Kuala Lumpur in February, and we have been considering the possibility, or advisability, of taking a day trip to Singapore during that time.

We understand that the trip would be about 4 hours by train; does that sound right? Anyone have a website which would show the train schedule?

If we arrived, say, mid-morning, and left early evening, what is the best use of our time in Singapore?
