Subject: Hotel Britannique
Hi, Ziners!

We stayed at the Hotel Britannique July 2, 2003 on our way back from Alsace. The Britannique (not to be confused with that dreadful Hotel Bretonnerie in the Marais) is clean, comfortable, quiet, and well-located. Room was smallish, but typical of Paris. The Britannique was favorably and accurately reviewed on Trip Advisor, Travelocity, and Fodors which is why we stayed there. Can't find the bill, but I believe that we paid about 150 Euros (the Euro was more fun in 2003) for the night.

Easy access from the airport is a real bonus. We flew from Strasbourg to CDG and rode the RER train from there to the Chatelet/Les Halles station. Wandered around underground in the direction of the Opera Garnier and emerged from the Metro station just across the street from the hotel.

Highly recommended!
