Michele mentioned taking a good bus tour of Savannah. It reminds me of how, several years ago, we were passing through the city and literally had time only for lunch and a very quick look-see. We ate our lunch and then decided to drive around. The only trouble was that I had no clue where to go. Then I spied a tour bus (I believe it was actually a trolley-like vehicle) and pulled up behind it. For the next half hour, following the tour bus, we had a lovely tour of Savannah's Garden District. Then we moved on and resumed our journey on the Interstate.
