If I was to go on one of those walking tours, I would probably take the option "meals included" (if only because sometimes you are a bit on the tired side to go around looking for a decent place to have lunch).

BTW, the price quoted for the 3-course meal sounds about right to me. I´d say we have paid from 18 to 25 Euros in pretty normal places along the southwest (from the french basque country to Pau and the Perigord), so normal that we didn´t write down the names, and food has been good all around. Mind you, we tend more to order beer and mineral water than wine ...
