I went to the Grand Canyon in March with my wife and two sons. We live near Yosemite National Park and with the pass closed due to snow, it was quite the drive to get there.

As we arrived, the Boy's were so excited.....we peered over the rim.....and to our surprise, the canyon was shrouded in fog from just below the edge all the way to the bottom!!

We stayed at the Bright Angel for two days hoping to get a glimpse of the entire canyon, but alas, the fog never lifted! We spent our time taking day hikes and went to the IMAX theater in the next town.

We still enjoyed the trip because we were all together and now when people ask if we have seen the Grand Canyon....we say Well, we were there.....
