Subject: Re: Greece and Spain Travel
Hi Helen,

I would try to spend more time in Barcelona rather than squeeze in a few days in Paris before your cruise from Barcelona. Barcelona was super when I visited there in 1974 and still sounds wonderful! I would have a drink on Las Ramblas, have tapas somewhere picturesque, ride the funicular up Mount Tibidabo to the funfair on the top to eat fresh churros from a food stand, go to the top of Sagra Familia and look at the statues in Park Guell. I wonder whether they still gather to dance the Sardana in front of the cathedral after Mass?

There is a lot to see and do there and would be a good place to visit with young teenagers.

Here's an article on 3 days in Barcelona: http://www.starbulletin.com/2005/03/06/travel/story2.html
