We were just there in Nov.(Took my Hubby on a surprise Birthday trip} and I booked everything online. If you go to Google Search engine and type in Las Vegas you will get 10 great sites all with discount accom., flights and tickets to shows as well as recommended restaurants. We stayed at the Orleans which is a couple blocke off the strip but great spot for less than $50 Canadian a night. We had the best seafood buffet I have ever had at the RIO Hotel. We had a car and parking is free in every hotel on the strip. Just look for their Casino parking Lot--as long as you gamble they want you to park there. Sometimes we just walked thru the Casino and out other side--best kept secret in Vegas. The Hotel also offers a shuttle to the strip.
