Judith - though I haven't traveled to Tucson for a few
years, I do travel at least six times a year to Scottsdale.
The drive from Scottsdale to Tucson isn't all that difficult
nor is it far between the two cities. There really isn't
anything between the two where you would want to stay. You
could use Mapquest to get the exact directions and time.
