Hello Ziners!
I second the nomination of Anse Chastanet!! I was there before it became Anse Chastanet. At the time there was an elephant on the beach near the plantation below. Nothing like waking up (by elephant noises at the time) and looking at the Pitons (volcanoes) and an incredible sky. There is something exotic about not having a fourth wall (the view side was unencumbered by one) and a dipping pool in the room with flower petals floating on it. Anse Chastenet is also on the calmer side of the island. The place was closed to the public so we spent 10 days doing nothing at all and enjoying every minute of it! Lidia in Los Angeles |
