the 5th of February opens the new terminal at Madrid Barajas airport. If you are flying into or from Barajas, check with your airline to find out the terminal beforehand. Most of Iberia and Star Alliance flights will be move there, and also some of the transcontinental flights. http://www14.aena.es/T4/home.html

The metro only arrives to the old terminals, and from there there will be a free shuttle service to the new terminal. The 204 bus from Avda de America will run to T4. Allow for 10, 15 minutes more in order to get to T4.
