Hello Ziners!
Time changes everything. Went on the Anse Chastanet site out of curiosity. Had been there before it turned to Anse Chastanet when there were only the hillside villas. Now it seems much bigger. The villas were decorated in a Tahitian sort of way. Extremely cozy. What I saw from the website was very sterile. The villas had dipping pools which don't seem to be there anymore. There was no phone, no television, no distractions except trips to the incredibly calm, warm and transparent water below. On active days the rest of the island could be explored. The hotel had one breathtaking infinity pool and an outdoor restaurant were you were treated to the freshest most incredible cuisine. You were treated as royalty. How sad to see "progress" in action!
