Subject: Re: Andalucia, special places
Hi Graziela and Greg

About Seville I think that in addition to Greg's hightlights I should stress on the visit of the wonderful Alcazar - looking almost like Alhambra, visit of Plaza d'Espana and Maria Luisa Park - one of the most charming that I've ever seen! Visiting Expo 93 area will show you some crazy examples of modern architecture - if you have about an hour, spend it on the visit of Expo. One hour sail on the river is a pleasant as well. A day trip to Carmona with many majestic buildings is a must. While a visit of Osuna is not recommended - a real disappointment!

Being in Cordoba I'd also recommend you to go to Alcazar with its great gardens and an interesting Roman mosaic. A few hours trip to the Moorish capital Madinat A-Zahara is a must! Though it's an archeological site today, many buildings are well restored. You still can assess the mightness of the Moorish Kingdom.

Enjoy your trip, Alex Jerusalem Israel
