In 2001 I had a nice stay in Hotel du Grand Balcon. The hotel is situated very close to the main square and some of the rooms have a view of the Opera and the Town Hall. I had a room where a century ago Saint Exupery stayed. To book his room you should call in advance and send the fax. The hotel looks like it should look in the 1920's. You can feel there the charm of the past. Even the fact that some places in the hotel need a repair only adds to the charm of untouchable past.
