When I stayed at Hotel Santa Fe the taxi took me to the back door of the hotel so there wasn't much of a walk. I hope you will be there on a Friday or Saturday night so you can join in the battle of the bands. That's not want it is called but it was delightful. The whole town is at the square for the weekend town entertainment.
