Subject: Trains in Italy |
Dear Don and Linda,
I have enjoyed many of your travelogues and I have studied them with interest before going on vacations. I wonder if you can elaborate a bit about train travel in Italy. The Railpass seems to be described a bit contradictory as you on one hand can "travel unlimited" for a certain price, and then it says you only have 3 "travel days". It seems to me that whenever you travel in Italy you go by train almost nonstop for 4 weeks, and how do you explain that. We are flying to Rome on June 11th and staying for 16 days. We think about renting a car, but your way of travel, with bus or train, sure sounds more relaxing. Best regards, Odd & Synnove |
