Subject: Prague restaurants
Hello Linda and Ron-

We have a couple of recommendations for special dinner places in Prague - for old-world elegance, excellent service, romantic atmosphere, and delicious French-inspired cuisine, Palffy Palac can't be beat. I'm sure you've read about it in your research. For a more exotic, yet still elegant experience, which can be VERY romantic if you choose the curtained alcove or the middle-Eastern-inspired booth (each dining area is exotically different - fun and interesting), with equally delicious cuisine (beautifully presented - more cutting edge style than the Palac) and excellent service, The Alchymist is another choice. Both are candle-lit. Multi-course dinner with wine, around $60.

On the hillside below Prague castle, U Zlaty Studne is another winner. We enjoyed lunch on the terrace in June - I believe it's heated so you could sit there in March too. THIS is the one with the fabulous view over the Vltava and the city. Once again, superb cuisine and service. The inside dining room also has a marvelous view - ask for a window table. All three of these are in our favorite area of Prague, Mala Strana (Little Town), on the castle side of the river. All three are refined, French-inspired Czech cuisine. I'm getting hungry writing about them!

If you want more details, or you'd like to see photos, let me know. Happy anniversary!
