We will be visiting Portugal during the second half of May. We travel with our laptop and have a couple of questions we were hoping someone could answer.

1. Can anyone recommend a free dial-up Internet Access Provider there? We are looking for an ISP that provides a dial-up number everywhere in the country at the cost of a local phone call.

2. Does anyone know if any of the mobile phone networks in Portugal allow dial-up from a computer without a special account? We have a cellular modem into which we can slide a SIM card but not all providers allow this with a pay-as-you- go plan which is what we will have.
