The Toronto airport (Pearson) is outside of the downtown where most of the attractions are; it's further north. There are plenty of hotels that are right beside the airport, i.e. Holiday Inn, etc. But nothing is walking distance. The closest thing would be the Vaughan Mills mall, which is a huge mall that just opened up a year ago. You could take a cab to get there - it's right off the 400 highway. A cab will probably cost around 15-20$ to get to the mall from the airport.
