I did stand on line in the office to purchase a ticket from CDG to Paris but I followed the suggestion of a Ziner and also purchased my return ticket for a week later so that I would not have a wait on my return to the airport. If I recall, the return ticket was not dated and I was happy that I had it when I saw how busy the station was during rush hour.
