Please do not mail the credit card number. Look up the phone number of the hotel and make the call.

If you email, they will have the information in documentation and who knows whose hands this information will fall into or how long it will lay out in the open for other folks to see and copy the number. This might take a little longer but in the end run, you might avoid idenity theft.

And you might want to notify the bank about this upcoming transaction too so they can document.
