My experience in changing planes has ranged from missing flights, to running through the airport, to visiting every gift shop in the airport.

My last trip to Barcelona involved a plane change in Paris CDG. We were flying Air France and had a 1 ½ hours between the plane change. We barely made it. On the way back we talk to Air France and they agreed to put us on an earlier flight so we would extra time between flights. Needless to say on the way back it only took us 20 minutes to get to the next plane and we sat around the airport.
