I haven't decided yet what to do but I am still leaning to going some distance from Rome for that night. Maybe not 80 miles though. Since we don't leave until 1PM and it is on a Saturday so there shouldn't be a rush hour anyway I don't feel too rushed.

Winnie, I had looked at Lago Braciano as a possibility as it is not quite as far. Can you tell me some more about it? Do you remember where you stayed?

I will certainly let you all know what we finally decided and how it all went when we come back!
