The Faro Airport thread brought to my memory a trip in SAS between Buenos Aires and Lisbon. Due to bad weather the plane landed in Faro. From Faro we (2 adults and four children) were sent by SAS in two taxis to Lisbon.

As I recall it was not an easy trip because the drivers had no clue how to find our hotel in Lisbon.:-) and it was not that safe either because of the thick fog. How about any other unusual, unexpected transfer to an airport?
