Well we have returned from Portugal and south west Spain and am catching up on all the news. I will write a detailed report this week but a couple of answers I can address quickly between loads of laundry. Hotel in Lisbon-we used the Vip Eden-right on Restauradores Square. It was central to everything and the Airport bus stopped right at the door. The room was an apartment with full kitchen. We were 2 couples and the pull-out bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on-why don't they make these in Canada? It cost us $68 Canadian per couple per night booked through http://hotels.com They also have smaller rooms. I highly recommend it.
