--such a dilemma--my first thought was what kind of a traveler is your 6 year old? Provence at that time of the year is great because usually it is Spring (although not sure this year as it has been a weird winter in Europe) but I know my 6 year old would not have been up for that! There are lots of great deals on some of the website for travel to the Caribbean--saw one today two travel for the price of one or 2 weeks for the price of one. A cruise might be fun for your son--lots of good deals there this time of the year often including flights.
