The year 2006 is the Rembrandt-Year! Recently started a very special exposition (till June 2006): "Rembrandt and Caravagio" in the van Gogh-museum (because of the renovation of the Rijksmuseum). The van Gogh-museum is the neighbour of the Rijksmuseum. Both painters are specialised in beams of light. There are resemblances but also contrasts between these great artists. It's a must!
