My husband and I will be caring for our daughter's children while she and her husband go to Guadalajara. My son-in-law is being sent there on business, so where to stay is not an issue.

Can anyone recommend restaurants and attractions to see in the area? Is there anything to be wary of or avoid? They will be going around the third week in April.
