Yes, this is our first time to Ottawa. As I read more and more we should probably concentrate on Ottawa as we only have two days. We miss the RCMP Musical Ride by several days, however some of the museums and government buildings look fascinating.

Any further information would be helpful for our planning. We arrive July 5th on ViaRail and depart July 7th to Montreal. Are the government building open for touring or do arrangements need to be made in advance?
