As far as how we traveled from one location to another - it was a combination of ways. Our deal was that the travel agent arranged for us a private van (with a driver) from Antigua to Copan, where we stayed one night. We continued with him to Quirigua and Rio Dulce. At that point the driver left. After our two night stay there, the travel agent put us on a Pullman bus (the most "luxurious") for a three hour ride to Flores for one night. The next morning we had a prearranged tour (by our travel agent) from Flores to Tikal and back to Flores airport, which included all the Tikal activities/hotel. From Flores we flew back to Guatemala city on TAG airlines. Hope this helps.
