Subject: Re: Greece in October
Hello Sheryl and Other Ziners,

While it has been some time, and we are all aware of the vagaries of the weather, I spent three weeks in Greece and the Islands in October, and it was delightful. Even the ship's captain remarked how lucky we were that the winds were calm for that time of year, so that we could get into some ports that can often be inaccessible in the fall. So I can't say that it was typical weather for the time of year. Visiting around the historical and otherwise interesting areas of mainland Greece, we found the weather almost ideal. It could get quite warm during midday, but "sweater cool" in the evening. You will love your visit and feel that you have gone back in time.

Happy travels to all,

Lou in Lakeway, TX
