Thank you all Ziners for advice for my trip to Paris in May to visit my daughter. I will let you know how it all transpires. Currently she is on spring break traveling from Paris to Barcelona, then on to Cannes and Nice, and then on to Rome, Florence and Venice. She sure is ambitious for 18 days. Ah, to have all that energy. She is having a great time despite leaving her purse on the plane when she disembarked in Barcelona. Thankfully, it is in safe keeping at Charles De Gaulle airport awaiting her return, and she didn't have her passport and all her money, ATM, or credit cards in one place.

Now, I am busy planning our July trip to Amsterdam, Normandy, and Brittany.

Does anyone know of good hotels on the beach in Normandy and/or Brittany?
