We enjoyed staying at the Brussels Marriott, which is very near the Grand Place, with just the Borse (Stock Exchange) in between. You're at the center of transportation, and close to everything.

We were able to get a great room for $65 on Priceline, when the going rate was 320 Euros - this was in June.
