Subject: Re: Best time to travel?
Frances,

Aside from a ski holiday, when obviously we need snow, I don't care about the season in which I travel. We generally decide the place we want to visit, check out the weather and go.

Living in Canda, our airfares are always way more expensive than anywhere else in the world and our winter weather is fierce, which means we pay premuim to get to a warm place. I've met people in January in the Caribbean who have travelled from Scandinavia who have paid far less for their trip than we paid. Makes me sick.

Having said this, my favourite time to travel is September because everyone at home is back in gear and I'm leaving. It's amazing that we are still tuned into the school year so September equals "getting back into the grind" or "end of summer". It's the best time to travel to Europe.
