I had one and ONLY one bad meal in Italy. It was on the Eurostar train from Rome to Florence. The food was cold, bland and served so late that we had to gulp it down or miss our stop in Florence. Had we not been suffering from jet lag and a long day of intercontinental travel, I would probably have not eaten it.

The next time I'll stop at a rosticceria or any bar and get a panini or some of those delicious meat and vegetable dishes.
