Just back from the western USA; next trip to Croatia in July. . . should be warm enough :-)

I am planning a trip to northern Italy (my dad was born in Ovada and raised in Genoa) and I am sort of exploring my roots. I've been in the Cinque Terre region and to some of the nothern lakes, but never to Genoa or Ovada.

We'd like to exchange apartments with someone there (we are on outskirts of Stuttgart, Germany). I have some ideas, but any suggestions would be welcome.
