This is for me a busy travel season. I returned two weeks ago from visiting my son and his family in Leuven, Belgium. My husband and I made a quick to trip to Iowa City, IA (a delightful university town, if you've not been there) for a corporate celebration. I leave in a week and a half for Japan where my sister and I will use JR rail passes for sightseeing on the islands of Honshu (Tokyo and Kyoto) and Kiyushu, the island where my youngest daughter lives. In late August my husband and I sail from Vancouver to Alaska and explore the interior for a week.
