Friend is traveling and staying by herself at the Hotel Beaubourg right near the Pompidou later this summer. It is a lovely small hotel on a one lane street. While I was there years ago, I cannot remember how close she might find an excellent street market or cafe for breakfast, or for something later in the evenings so that she will have a short walk back. I know we were very close to the Marais but cannot for the life of me remember details. (Wish I could go with her and have all of the joy of being there!!) http://www.beaubourg-paris-hotel.com/
