Nice to hear you are on the road and enjoying LP. I know a great place for sauna and a massage in Vientiane but I guess you would rather I keep the information to myself!

If you partake of street food you can get great BBQ fish at the riverside in Vientiane, straight out of the Mekong, (I hope that's a good thing). If you time your pre dinner drinks right, around 5:00pm - 6:00pm you might be able to watch a hundred or so nubile young things doing their dancercise. Assuming you don't want to join in, the best place to watch from is the upstairs bar of the Mexican restaurant opposite.
