Subject: Re: Grand Canyon Skywalk |
Hey, Ziners, hey Kathy,
I notice that the exact location of the skywalk isn't mentioned. Probably because it's out in the middle of nowhere on the Hualapai Indian Reservation, which is over forty miles west of Grand Canyon Village as the crow flies. And there is no road between the two. Access to the reservation requires travelling back south to I-40 and old 66 and going west some distance, then fifty miles of reservation road. I can understand the Haulapai's desire to cash in on the enormous tourist business the national park gets, but they're going to have to have more to attract people than just the skywalk.
