Subject: Re: Street food
Hi all,

Here's another teary-eyed guy, longing for the sausages at Vorderer Sternen in Zurich. In September I'll be taking a taxi from the train station to the downtown Europcar office (to save the extra rental fee) and I'm thinking of asking the cabbie to stop there. I need to figure out a way to do it without my wife noticing - can anyone recommend a masking scent?

And as regards Tartiflette, when we were in Briancon last fall I fell in love with that dish - I even bought a special ceramic pan to make it in. I really like the recipe at http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Cookbook:Tartiflette although I like a bit less cream and more bacon (use slab bacon so the pieces stay large enough.) Wikipedia says that "McDonald's serves a form of tartiflette in its French outlets."
