I would totally agree with Angie that a visit to Ravello is A MUST, if you are staying in Sorrento for a few days. You can catch a bus up to this hilltop town from Amalfi. I would also recommend a visit to the Villa Cimbrone - set in magnificent gardens and with panoramic views of the Amalfi Coastline.
